An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Lanczak in the 3rd minute of play forced Masked champions's goalkeeper Ludomil Gollob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hugon Pilitowski came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Masked champions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugon Pilitowski couldn't finish the play. Ludomil Gollob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Kapelski, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Zbyszek Lanczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludomil Gollob. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszek Lanczak ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Masked champions defense, Zenon Kapelski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludomil Gollob. The Masked champions fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludomil Gollob should have stopped the shot. Ludomil Gollob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Lanczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Zbyszek Lanczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Julian Cielencki managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Masked champions's Hugon Pilitowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenon Kapelski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Harat Gała's zone, Iwo Czerwinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Cielencki came out of the goal and Iwo Czerwinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, Harat Gała was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Pankiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Ludomil Gollob made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Zbyszek Lanczak sent off a good shot on target. Iwo Czerwinski hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Iwo Czerwinski kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Czerwinski in the 75th minute of play forced Harat Gała's goalkeeper Julian Cielencki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Lanczak got free with Ludomil Gollob in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Zenon Kapelski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harat Gała's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Kapelski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludomil Gollob breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd of the match, Zenon Kapelski tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ludomil Gollob got in the way and made a wonderful save. Iwo Czerwinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zenon Kapelski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Harat Gała getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tolek Pankiewicz hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes, Masked champions's Edward Milko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julian Cielencki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Masked champions reached it.
