Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) Stanislaw Urban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Jakisz in the 5th minute. If Sylwester Jaroch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Zbigniew Bucyki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aluminium Konin's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbigniew Bucyki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Morawy's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Bucyki came free, but Wincent Drozdowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Aluminium Konin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Gecionis to maneuver through the defense. Tolek Tyski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Stanislaw Urban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Janusz Ochylski charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Janusz Ochylski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Morawy booed when Aluminium Konin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Ochylski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Tolek Tyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Urban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislaw Kaczanek hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Napoleon Niedbalski from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Wincent Drozdowski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sylwester Jaroch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
