The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Witalis Wawrukiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Adamus having to interfere. If Andrzej Madajczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Norbert Komanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michal Wojtkiewicz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th match minute, Szczodrowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Lato to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Elana Toruń's zone, Witalis Wawrukiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Adamus came out of the goal and Witalis Wawrukiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Adamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Madajczyk in the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrzej Madajczyk in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Adamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute of the match Ulryk Zarobski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roland Adamus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Szczodrowo booed when Elana Toruń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Szel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Elana Toruń's Norbert Komanski got a free kick in the 34th minute. Roland Adamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Wawrukiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Gdowik in the 46th minute of play forced Szczodrowo's goalkeeper Marek Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliusz Gdowik made a kick off. Tolek Szel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aureliusz Gdowik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marek Zurawski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Adamus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witalis Wawrukiewicz in the 55th minute. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Andrzej Madajczyk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 66 minutes of play, Szczodrowo's Witalis Wawrukiewicz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Adamus was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Elana Toruń's zone, Witalis Wawrukiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Adamus came out of the goal and Witalis Wawrukiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Roland Adamus managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Szczodrowo's Witalis Wawrukiewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Witalis Wawrukiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Roland Adamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Adamus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrzej Madajczyk's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Szczodrowo defense, Aureliusz Gdowik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Zurawski. The Szczodrowo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Zurawski should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Witalis Wawrukiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Szczodrowo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elana Toruń throughout the match.
