But to his dismay, Zula Chmelyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Majorski came free, but Grzegorz Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Herbert Majorski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obierwia's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Majorski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grzegorz Hajto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grzegorz Hajto made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Jaroslaw Snaza sent off a good shot on target. After 30 played minutes Obierwia got a freekick which was hit by Zula Chmelyk. The audience was convinced that Lukasz Tomaka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstanty Matuch was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Jaroslaw Snaza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Grzegorz Hajto made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Jaroslaw Snaza sent off a good shot on target. Konstanty Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Tomaka in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliks Brudzisz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Wisła Kraków's Fryderyk Dulemba got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wisła Kraków's zone, Klement Hryc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grzegorz Hajto came out of the goal and Klement Hryc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the game, Klement Petrasz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wisła Kraków's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obierwia the free kick. After 73 played minutes, Obierwia's Ziemowit Lemiesz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grzegorz Hajto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Obierwia reached it. If Klement Hryc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerzy Wydrych charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerzy Wydrych the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Jerzy Wydrych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lukasz Tomaka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstanty Matuch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Feliks Brudzisz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Klement Hryc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wisła Kraków's Grzegorz Hajto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Snaza in the 82nd minute of play. Herbert Majorski struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Grzegorz Hajto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obierwia. After some careless play in the Wisła Kraków defense, Klement Hryc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grzegorz Hajto. The Wisła Kraków fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grzegorz Hajto should have stopped the shot. Klement Hryc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Grzegorz Hajto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Feliks Brudzisz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Obierwia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klement Hryc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filip Galus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Obierwia's Jaroslaw Snaza suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Roch Szpakowski fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wisła Kraków's protests and gave Roch Szpakowski a yellow card for diving instead. Roch Szpakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
