An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksymilian Lichucki in the 21st minute of play forced Gwardia Mazowsze's goalkeeper Wiktor Jakubiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, KS Warta Dzialoszyn's Jurand Wejta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Jakubiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariusz Ligas was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariusz Ligas in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Kisiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariusz Ligas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksander Kisiel having to make a save. Leszek Jarek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aleksander Kisiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radomir Okopny's late challenge caught a Gwardia Mazowsze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomir Okopny helped the player get up and apologised. Radomir Okopny kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. KS Warta Dzialoszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurand Wejta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiktor Jakubiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gwardia Mazowsze supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gwardia Mazowsze would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
