GKS Neptun Gdańsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pankracy Andrysiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Pankracy Andrysiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patryk Tylinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dariusz Joks charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dariusz Joks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of KS Atak Ksawera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GKS Neptun Gdańsk:s goal. The referee gave GKS Neptun Gdańsk a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Konrad Niemojewski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KS Atak Ksawera's Patryk Tylinski. 0-2. Patryk Tylinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Moizuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dobromir Moizuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, one of KS Atak Ksawera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KS Atak Ksawera. After a defensive mix-up in KS Atak Ksawera's zone, Pankracy Andrysiak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patryk Tylinski came out of the goal and Pankracy Andrysiak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pankracy Andrysiak in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patryk Tylinski saved KS Atak Ksawera from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Dobromir Moizuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pankracy Andrysiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to KS Atak Ksawera getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Robert Tamulewicz hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witomir Motyl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. KS Atak Ksawera's Witomir Motyl got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patryk Tylinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobromir Moizuk in the 54th minute. With a little luck, KS Atak Ksawera's Patryk Tylinski got control of the ball when Pankracy Andrysiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wlodzimierz Dobrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Motyl in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of KS Atak Ksawera booed when GKS Neptun Gdańsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szymon Drugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patryk Tylinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pankracy Andrysiak in the 76th minute. A collision led to GKS Neptun Gdańsk getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tolek Wyrzykowski hit a great ball. GKS Neptun Gdańsk's Wlodzimierz Dobrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Motyl in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Andrysiak got free with Patryk Tylinski in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pankracy Andrysiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dobromir Moizuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GKS Neptun Gdańsk's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
