In the 6th match minute, Opatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Czeszyk to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Ostrowieczno's Florian Wawak broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Tolek Bobrowski came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ostrowieczno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolek Bobrowski couldn't finish the play. Tolek Cichowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Roman having to interfere. If Kajetan Debkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juliusz Joks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugon Glapiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Juliusz Joks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Debkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the Ostrowieczno and the Opatów players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute Kajetan Debkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Joks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolek Cichowski made a kick off. During the 78th minute of the match Wieslaw Milan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wieslaw Milan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Opatów booed when Ostrowieczno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Milan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Hugon Glapiak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juliusz Joks was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ostrowieczno's Juliusz Joks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Debkowski in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Edmund Falkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ostrowieczno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Falkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kajetan Debkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
