In the 17th minute Kazimierz Maruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincenty Duda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Szpakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wincenty Duda made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Cyprian Szpakowski sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 90 minutes, Kazimierz Maruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lazy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Maruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Lazy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tottenham Hotspur.
