The referee ignored Boczków's protests and gave Julian Puzio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Boczków's Julian Puzio got a free kick in the 4th minute. Teobald Nowacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Prokowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Korytkowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wlodzimierz Kapera came out and tried to block the shot, but Florian Korytkowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Korytkowski was the one to do the kick off.
