In the 5th minute, Janusz Cisek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Rafal Barowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boruc Zbytniewski was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Tolek Makarewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tolek Makarewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Czeslaw Harbaszewski took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Boruc Zbytniewski to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Korytkowski in the 41st minute of play forced Jaczowice's goalkeeper Michal Mirowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Miromir Przewozik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Czeslaw Harbaszewski made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Olgierd Wolniewicz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Kopytów SSA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Janusz Cisek hit a great ball. Czeslaw Harbaszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Boruc Zbytniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kopytów SSA booed when Jaczowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slawomir Zurawski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Miromir Przewozik came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Kopytów SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Przewozik couldn't finish the play. If Olgierd Wolniewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomir Korytkowski got free with Michal Mirowski in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kopytów SSA's Miromir Przewozik got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Czeslaw Harbaszewski in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boruc Zbytniewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kopytów SSA's goalkeeper Boruc Zbytniewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Harbaszewski in the 88th minute of play forced Kopytów SSA's goalkeeper Boruc Zbytniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Czeslaw Harbaszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaczowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Czeslaw Harbaszewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boruc Zbytniewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Harbaszewski in the 93rd minute of play forced Kopytów SSA's goalkeeper Boruc Zbytniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Jaczowice's Czeslaw Harbaszewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boruc Zbytniewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Kopytów SSA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
