Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Konrad Wojtyna took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gniezno's Waldemar Zbikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Rutecki in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Szczepan Drebit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Konrad Wojtyna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franciszek Pliszka. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Rutecki in the 39th minute of play forced Gniezno's goalkeeper Waldemar Zbikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st of the match, Konrad Wojtyna tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Franciszek Pliszka got in the way and made a wonderful save. The supporters of Gniezno booed when ChoRzowska KG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Rutecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ludomil Piwowarski came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Gniezno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomil Piwowarski couldn't finish the play. ChoRzowska KG's Franciszek Pliszka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save ChoRzowska KG from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ludomil Piwowarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Korneliusz Rutecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. At last the ball reached Ludomir Pietras at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of ChoRzowska KG. 2-0. Waldemar Zbikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Pinczewski in the 71st minute of play. When Barnaba Odachowski fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ChoRzowska KG's protests and gave Barnaba Odachowski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ChoRzowska KG's Barnaba Odachowski got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes, Gniezno's Szczepan Drebit shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franciszek Pliszka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gniezno reached it. Franciszek Pliszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomil Piwowarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ludomil Piwowarski sped through ChoRzowska KG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franciszek Pliszka. After having played for 92 minutes, Ludomil Piwowarski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gniezno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomil Piwowarski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konrad Wojtyna in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franciszek Pliszka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the ChoRzowska KG players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gniezno.
