Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gniezno's Konrad Wojtyna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Waldemar Zbikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Kluczyk in the 5th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes, Gniezno's Patryk Jucha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomasz Trac came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gniezno reached it. Ludomil Piwowarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tomasz Trac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Zbikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Kluczyk in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Marian Lizewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludomil Piwowarski struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Tomasz Trac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gniezno. Ludomil Piwowarski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes in the game, Konrad Wojtyna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tomasz Trac having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Ludomil Piwowarski made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Krykajny's Tomasz Trac tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomil Piwowarski got free with Tomasz Trac in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gniezno's Konrad Wojtyna in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Krykajny's goalie prevented a goal. Tomasz Trac made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Zula Sokol sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gniezno's goalkeeper Waldemar Zbikowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lech Kluczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Waldemar Zbikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Lizewski to make the kick off. Waldemar Zbikowski made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Lech Kluczyk sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, Lech Kluczyk notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gniezno's Waldemar Zbikowski. Waldemar Zbikowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Konrad Wojtyna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomasz Trac was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 62nd minute Konrad Wojtyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Trac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Kluczyk's late challenge caught a Gniezno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lech Kluczyk helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Krykajny getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lech Kluczyk hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes Krykajny got a freekick which was hit by Roman Piatek. In the 76th minute of the match Ksawery Majtyka sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomasz Trac skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute, Boleslaw Bryk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomasz Trac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Wojtyna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gniezno's Waldemar Zbikowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Gniezno from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Krykajny's zone, Ludomil Piwowarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Trac came out of the goal and Ludomil Piwowarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Roman Piatek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Gniezno's Szczepan Drebit broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Krykajny's Tomasz Trac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Wojtyna in the 88th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Krykajny! In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Gniezno. Szczepan Drebit stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomasz Trac. 3-1. Zula Sokol hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Gniezno were the better team. Gniezno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
