Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Konrad Wojtyna got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Lucjan Solak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Ludomil Piwowarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gniezno's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomil Piwowarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Zerde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zdzislaw Zerde came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Gniezno's Konrad Wojtyna. But to his dismay, Konrad Wojtyna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ludomil Piwowarski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Zdzislaw Zerde when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zdzislaw Zerde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludomil Piwowarski in the 15th minute. When Konrad Wojtyna came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gniezno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Wojtyna couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Pogoń Lwów's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Zerde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludomil Piwowarski. Mateusz Piglowski kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ludomil Piwowarskis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Zdzislaw Zerde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Gniezno getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Zula Sokol hit a great ball. Ludomil Piwowarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Zerde having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Korneliusz Mitus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Zula Sokol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zdzislaw Zerde was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Ludomil Piwowarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gniezno's Ludomir Pietras got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konrad Wojtyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zdzislaw Zerde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zdzislaw Zerde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomil Piwowarski's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. When Ludomil Piwowarski came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gniezno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomil Piwowarski couldn't finish the play. Zdzislaw Zerde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Piwowarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Gniezno's Konrad Wojtyna in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pogoń Lwów's goalie prevented a goal. Mateusz Piglowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Zbikowski having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Pogoń Lwów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateusz Piglowski to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Ludomil Piwowarski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zdzislaw Zerde. Pogoń Lwów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludomil Piwowarski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. If Edmund Poreda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gniezno getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marek Brack hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Pogoń Lwów's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Wojtyna came free, but Zdzislaw Zerde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zdzislaw Zerde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Wojtyna in the 95th minute of the match. Konrad Wojtyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gniezno had played much better football throughout.
