Spectators: 6674 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cyprian Chwalkiewicz started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antoni Gurgul during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Rentienen SA got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Gurgul. Janusz Budzynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Cyprian Chwalkiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Igor Yavrukov. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 11th minute, Zbyszko Slazak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wojciech Teofila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The throw-in from Tanek Rekawiczka in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GKS Chloraka Katowice's Benedykt Peczkowski. If Cyprian Chwalkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GKS Chloraka Katowice's Igor Yavrukov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Chwalkiewicz in the 25th minute of play. Zbyszko Slazak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Teofila having to interfere. Czeslaw Nocny might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wojciech Teofila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Czeslaw Nocny ran back to his position shaking his head. The long shot by Tanek Rekawiczka in the 38th minute really tested Igor Yavrukov's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 39 played minutes GKS Chloraka Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Kaminski. Igor Yavrukov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tanek Rekawiczka. With a little luck, GKS Chloraka Katowice's Igor Yavrukov got control of the ball when Janusz Budzynski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Czeslaw Nocny came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the GKS Chloraka Katowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Czeslaw Nocny couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbyszko Slazak was the one to do the kick off. GKS Chloraka Katowice's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wasyl Jazowski in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on GKS Chloraka Katowice's corner Wasyl Jazowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wojciech Teofila quite easily take care of the ball. Zbyszko Slazak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Wojciech Teofila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Zbyszko Slazak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Chloraka Katowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbyszko Slazak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tanek Rekawiczka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Igor Yavrukov. GKS Chloraka Katowice's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zbyszko Slazak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Wojciech Teofila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GKS Chloraka Katowice's Zbyszko Slazak got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Antoni Gurgul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 minutes, Zbyszko Slazak made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rentienen SA's Wojciech Teofila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Janusz Budzynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Yavrukov having to interfere. GKS Chloraka Katowice's attentive Benedykt Peczkowski managed to snatch the ball when Tanek Rekawiczka made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Benedykt Peczkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Teofila having to interfere. Zbyszko Slazak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GKS Chloraka Katowice's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
