After 5 played minutes KS Kętrzyn got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Karaszkiewicz. Junior Team's Klement Gejda got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Junior Team's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Mondrowski came free, but Zula Praski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Junior Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Kempka to maneuver through the defense. Zula Praski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Wincek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Janusz Mondrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Praski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szymon Harbaszewski charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szymon Harbaszewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When KS Kętrzyn's Janusz Mondrowski in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Junior Team's Zula Praski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Mondrowski in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes in the game, Daniel Pietrasz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ludomir Tuliszewski having to interfere. Klement Gejda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Daniel Pietrasz in the 38th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ludomir Tuliszewski kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

58 minutes into the game, Lucjan Oryniak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Kętrzyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junior Team the free kick. Ludomil Tamulewicz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zula Praski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Mondrowski in the 61st minute of play. Junior Team's Zula Praski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Mondrowski in the 63rd minute of play. During the 63rd minute of the match Szymon Harbaszewski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Szymon Harbaszewski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Junior Team getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Szymon Harbaszewski hit a great ball. Klement Gejda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Tuliszewski having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Miroslaw Kochanowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Radomir Wincek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Klement Gejda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junior Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Gejda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludomir Tuliszewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Klement Gejda came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Junior Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klement Gejda couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Miroslaw Kochanowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Kętrzyn's goalkeeper Ludomir Tuliszewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ludomir Tuliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Gejda in the 85th minute of play. Zula Praski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomir Wincek went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 98 minutes into the match, KS Kętrzyn's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Gejda came free, but Ludomir Tuliszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KS Kętrzyn eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
