Herbert Narbut started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Taluba SSA booed when Lubań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobromir Motowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwan Kazimierz in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Trac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Kazimierz in the 10th minute of play forced Lubań's goalkeeper Waldemar Trac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Gondek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Slawomir Fabiszak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lubań's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taluba SSA the free kick. A collision led to Lubań getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Slawomir Fabiszak hit a great ball. Herbert Narbut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Trac having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Lubań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Sanocki to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Trac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Kazimierz in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Herbert Narbut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldemar Trac was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. If Iwan Kazimierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Narbut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Waldemar Trac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lubań's Waldemar Trac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Narbut in the 33rd minute of play. Waldemar Trac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Narbut's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Narbut in the 47th minute of play forced Lubań's goalkeeper Waldemar Trac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Iwan Kazimierz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Trac having to interfere. Herbert Narbut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64 played minutes Lubań got a freekick which was hit by Julian Gondek. If Herbert Narbut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Taluba SSA's Herbert Narbut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldemar Trac. Waldemar Trac yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Waldemar Trac was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Herbert Narbut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herbert Narbut really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Waldemar Trac made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwan Kazimierz in the 77th minute. Waldemar Trac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Narbut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Kazimierz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waldemar Trac came out and tried to block the shot, but Iwan Kazimierz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Narbut in the 90th minute of play forced Lubań's goalkeeper Waldemar Trac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Trac made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Iwan Kazimierz sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Herbert Narbut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldemar Trac, 0-4. The Lubań fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taluba SSA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
