With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Ostrowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC SIERADZ's Lucjan Falkowski got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes in the game, Tymoteusz Rydz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Maciej Wietrzychowski scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edward Ostrowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Boleslaw Poremba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes of play, Pijawnia SA's Maciej Wietrzychowski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Ostrowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Ostrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Rydz in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, FC SIERADZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tymoteusz Rydz came free, but Edward Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Maciej Wietrzychowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pijawnia SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maciej Wietrzychowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tymoteusz Rydz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maciej Wietrzychowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC SIERADZ's Edward Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Rydz in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, FC SIERADZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tymoteusz Rydz came free, but Edward Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
