Beniamin Fleszar's late challenge caught a Legia Ursus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beniamin Fleszar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Legia Ursus booed when Victoria Orzełek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beniamin Fleszar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szymon Majorski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Legia Ursus getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Marek Komornicki hit a great ball. If Grzegorz Mierzejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Legia Ursus's goalkeeper Igor Nuszkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Nuszkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Majorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Legia Ursus's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Majorski came free, but Igor Nuszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Victoria Orzełek's Szymon Majorski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Igor Nuszkowski. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 35th match minute, Victoria Orzełek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Olejniczak to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Aureliusz Brudnicki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Victoria Orzełek's Adam Paprotny did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grzegorz Mierzejewski got free with Igor Nuszkowski in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grzegorz Mierzejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Legia Ursus's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Szymon Majorski 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakub Kalemba was the one to do the kick off. When Szymon Majorski came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Victoria Orzełek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Szymon Majorski couldn't finish the play. Grzegorz Mierzejewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Nuszkowski having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Jakub Kalemba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Paprotny was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 70 minutes into the game, Ludomir Imbor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legia Ursus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Victoria Orzełek the free kick. In the 71st minute Szymon Majorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Nuszkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szymon Majorski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Igor Nuszkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Nuszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Majorski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
