Ludomir Pierz charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludomir Pierz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lech Poznań! In the 15th minute, Kopidołki got a penalty, and Cyryl Nakoneczny placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The attack was good, but when Milosz Gollob in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Norbert Piekarczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Milosz Gollob made a precise shot to the right of Jedrzej Rekawiczka. Kopidołki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Norbert Piekarczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Rekawiczka having to interfere. Norbert Piekarczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Marcin Golembiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kopidołki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcin Golembiewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Ziemba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
