After a defensive mix-up in Szaniawy SSA's zone, Hieronim Kisielka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Limanowski came out of the goal and Hieronim Kisielka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Nikodemski kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hieronim Kisielka to make the kick off. Zbyszko Limanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Kisielka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hieronim Kisielka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. When Lucjan Zarobski came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Szaniawy SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Zarobski couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes Spilnia got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Walkowski. Szaniawy SSA's Iwo Wojtkiewicz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eugeniusz Wodaszak but with some difficulty. Hieronim Kisielka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zbyszko Limanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugeniusz Wodaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Zarobski in the 74th minute of the match. Lucjan Zarobski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hieronim Kisielka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Limanowski having to interfere. Teofil Walkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Rasiak in the 83rd minute of play forced Szaniawy SSA's goalkeeper Zbyszko Limanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spilnia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waldemar Kajfasz in the 85th minute. The corner led to Spilnia's Iwo Rasiak getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Kisielka in the 89th minute of play forced Szaniawy SSA's goalkeeper Zbyszko Limanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franciszek Miecznikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Zbyszko Limanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hieronim Kisielka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zbyszko Limanowski having to make a save.
