The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zabudnow SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Olaf Galaska was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryszard Czubski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Pomlewo SA's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Galaska came free, but Ryszard Czubski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Czubski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Owsiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zabudnow SA's Olaf Galaska in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Pomlewo SA's zone, Olaf Galaska stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Czubski came out of the goal and Olaf Galaska tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Olaf Galaska managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zabudnow SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Galaska was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iwan Kanczuszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tadeusz Gomolka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Zabudnow SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Rukszcz to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Zabudnow SA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iwan Kanczuszewski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Boruc Owsiak came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Zabudnow SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boruc Owsiak couldn't finish the play. Ryszard Czubski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Galaska in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Pawel Karaszkiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pomlewo SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zabudnow SA the free kick. 64 minutes into the game, one of Pomlewo SA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Pomlewo SA's Ryszard Czubski got control of the ball when Boruc Owsiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Iwan Kanczuszewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeusz Gomolka. Zabudnow SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iwan Kanczuszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ryszard Czubski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boruc Owsiak in the 86th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Boruc Owsiak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ryszard Czubski. Boruc Owsiak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Pomlewo SA's Ryszard Czubski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Pomlewo SA from getting a goal against them. Ryszard Czubski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boruc Owsiak in the 92nd minute.
