After a defensive mix-up in LKS Lot Balice's zone, Zbyszek Bugno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Poteralski came out of the goal and Zbyszek Bugno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zbyszek Bugno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszek Bugno in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeusz Poteralski saved LKS Lot Balice from getting behind. In the 42ndth minute of the game Miroslaw Bara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LKS Lot Balice's Tadeusz Poteralski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Olaf Raflewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Bugno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Poteralski was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The LKS Lot Balice fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GKS Jastrzębie were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
