Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateusz Percha in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zbigniew Modrzewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmund Nalaskowski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Oszywilken's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 20 minutes into the game, Kacper Piglowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szumsko's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oszywilken the free kick. The supporters of Oszywilken booed when Szumsko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kacper Piglowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szumsko's Walery Walentowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomasz Witwicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomasz Witwicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Koperski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Borys Koperski to make the kick off. Borys Koperski took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomasz Witwicki. Tomasz Witwicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Borys Koperski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Mateusz Percha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Modrzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Witwicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Koperski in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Buda in the 70th minute of play forced Szumsko's goalkeeper Zbigniew Modrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oszywilken's Mateusz Percha got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84thth minute of the game Mateusz Percha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szumsko's Zbigniew Modrzewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bogumil Bulkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Mateusz Percha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oszywilken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateusz Percha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mateusz Percha came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Oszywilken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateusz Percha couldn't finish the play. Szumsko were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Oszywilken's much stronger midfield.
