Maksymilian Olszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Andrzejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Toplina's Lucjan Mitus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Dembowski in the 11th minute of play. Dobromir Dembowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Mitus having to interfere. A collision led to Toplina getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Radoslaw Glogowski hit a great ball. Sylwester Gizynski's late challenge caught a Toplina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Gizynski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Toplina booed when Markowica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Gizynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ksawery Tyszka came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Markowica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ksawery Tyszka couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Tyszka got free with Lucjan Mitus in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dobromir Dembowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Mitus having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ksawery Tyszka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markowica's supporters rose to their feet, but Ksawery Tyszka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Mitus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Andrzejewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Andrzejewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksymilian Olszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Dembowski in the 33rd minute of play forced Toplina's goalkeeper Lucjan Mitus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Dembowski in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Mitus saved Toplina from getting behind. Norbert Andrzejewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maksymilian Olszewski having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Toplina's zone, Ksawery Tyszka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Mitus came out of the goal and Ksawery Tyszka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Andrzejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucjan Mitus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Dembowski in the 69th minute of play. Ksawery Tyszka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Mitus having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Dobromir Dembowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Jan Polkoski put in a rough tackle. In the 74th minute, one of Toplina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Toplina. Dobromir Dembowski struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Lucjan Mitus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Markowica. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Dembowski in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Mitus saved Toplina from getting behind. Markowica succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Toplina had controlled the match.
