Czeslaw Bronkala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Marud having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Golen's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Juszkowski came free, but Wit Marud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wit Marud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Zbydniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Golen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Fedosz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Golen's zone, Tanek Juszkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Marud came out of the goal and Tanek Juszkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Tanek Juszkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zakopane's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanek Juszkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wit Marud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wit Marud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Zbydniewski in the 68th minute of the match. Golen's Wit Marud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Juszkowski in the 70th minute of play. If Tanek Juszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Wit Marud came out of the goal and Tobiasz Zbydniewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, FC Zakopane's Tanek Juszkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wit Marud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Zakopane had played much better football throughout.
