In the 12th minute Przemyslaw Chazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Tamulewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Przemyslaw Chazon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sherrif's supporters crossed their fingers, but Przemyslaw Chazon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Przemyslaw Chazon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacy Tamulewicz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When Sherrif's Zbyszko Nowacki in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Sherrif's Przemyslaw Chazon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignacy Tamulewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zbyszko Nowacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ignacy Tamulewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Bogucice's Ignacy Tamulewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Giertych in the 40th minute of play. Sherrif's Przemyslaw Chazon got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bogucice's zone, Przemyslaw Chazon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacy Tamulewicz came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Chazon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacy Tamulewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Czajka in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Iwo Giertych had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacy Tamulewicz. FC Bogucice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iwo Giertych was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mikolaj Moryl made the kick off in the second half. Przemyslaw Chazon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Damazy Turek fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bogucice's protests and gave Damazy Turek a yellow card for diving instead. Sherrif's Franciszek Figlewski was substituted for Iwo Giertych. After 55 played minutes FC Bogucice got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Turek. After 57 minutes FC Bogucice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Przemyslaw Chazon who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Franciszek Figlewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sherrif's supporters rose to their feet, but Franciszek Figlewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacy Tamulewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 played minutes Sherrif got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Wieloch. Mikolaj Moryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
