After taking down the ball on Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's corner Markos Kopsidas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Stratos Vogiatzis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Lembit Lutsar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 21st minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stratos Vogiatzis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattæus Ellef during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Stratos Vogiatzis made a huge save. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goalkeeper Stratos Vogiatzis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
