In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind BAŁTYK Gdynia's goalkeeper Waldemar Turak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, BAŁTYK Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Klewinski came free, but Waldemar Turak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Iwan Sitko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raków Częstochowa's Waldemar Kapinos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Dawid Bendyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jurand Podwojski kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Lech Klewinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Waldemar Turak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Raków Częstochowa's Dawid Bendyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldemar Turak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dobromir Czech took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Waldemar Kapinos. Raków Częstochowa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raków Częstochowa's Lech Klewinski got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Dawid Bendyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Lech Klewinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raków Częstochowa's supporters rose to their feet, but Lech Klewinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Turak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raków Częstochowa's Lech Klewinski got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 minutes, Dawid Bendyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raków Częstochowa and the BAŁTYK Gdynia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waldemar Turak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Klewinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Raków Częstochowa's Dawid Bendyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Turak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dawid Bendyk to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Lech Brzakala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BAŁTYK Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raków Częstochowa the free kick. Iwan Sitko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lech Brzakala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waldemar Kapinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Sitko in the 82nd minute of the match. Waldemar Kapinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Brzakala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilbert Skoroda kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes, BAŁTYK Gdynia's Tytus Pluciennik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waldemar Kapinos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BAŁTYK Gdynia reached it. If Lech Klewinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Iwan Sitko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Kapinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
