The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bartlomiej Munko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Waldemar Czeszyk made a huge save. Witold Banas scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piotr Smolarek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Rudy in the 9th minute of play forced KS Dąbrówka Mała's goalkeeper Waldemar Czeszyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Czeszyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstanty Rudy in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, KS Dąbrówka Mała's Waldemar Czeszyk got control of the ball when Bartlomiej Munko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 minutes, Ziemowit Fink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Dąbrówka Mała and the Unia Rozłam players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, Leon Radziszewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unia Rozłam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Dąbrówka Mała the free kick. Piotr Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Kaczor in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Daniel Gacek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Dąbrówka Mała's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Gacek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piotr Smolarek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witold Banas went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Waldemar Czeszyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstanty Rudy in the 27th minute of the match. The long shot by Antoni Pahucki in the 29th minute really tested Waldemar Czeszyk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Banas in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piotr Smolarek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piotr Smolarek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dawid Rekowski went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Konstanty Rudy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstanty Rudy to make the kick off. Konstanty Rudy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of KS Dąbrówka Mała booed when Unia Rozłam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Radziszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Kisielka kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Unia Rozłam's Piotr Smolarek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Unia Rozłam from getting a goal against them.
