The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Lidzbark Warmiński Fire's zone, Daniel Wysocki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Gendolla came out of the goal and Daniel Wysocki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lidzbark Warmiński Fire's Florian Waselewicz in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LZS PODOLE's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute of the match, Michal Blochowiak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olaf Gendolla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bartlomiej Merski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waclaw Pusiak having to make a save. Gustaw Laskowski struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Waclaw Pusiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lidzbark Warmiński Fire. Bartlomiej Merski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Florian Waselewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Radowit Lampe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Cyryl Olchowy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lidzbark Warmiński Fire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LZS PODOLE the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Lidzbark Warmiński Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyryl Olchowy to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Lidzbark Warmiński Fire were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 played minutes Lidzbark Warmiński Fire got a freekick which was hit by Bartlomiej Merski. After a defensive mix-up in LZS PODOLE's zone, Florian Waselewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waclaw Pusiak came out of the goal and Florian Waselewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olaf Gendolla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Pietrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Michal Blochowiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LZS PODOLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Blochowiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Lidzbark Warmiński Fire getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gustaw Laskowski hit a great ball. Olaf Gendolla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Bilicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match Robert Chuchro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waclaw Pusiak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Michal Blochowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Gendolla having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Lidzbark Warmiński Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Blochowiak came free, but Olaf Gendolla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lidzbark Warmiński Fire fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for LZS PODOLE. Wojciech Limanowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Olaf Gendolla. 1-2. The supporters of LZS PODOLE booed when Lidzbark Warmiński Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Chuchro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wojciech Limanowski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Beniamin Pietrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Olaf Gendolla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
