In the 2nd minute, Jacek Mockiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Van Gogh CF's Edward Kopacz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bingo Katowice. Van Gogh CF's Radomil Gdaniec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Mockiewicz in the 17th minute of play. Dariusz Dres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olaf Drozdowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Kaczorowski having to interfere. Olaf Drozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lech Kaczorowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bingo Katowice's Lech Kaczorowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Dres in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Bingo Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Witold Piechna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Dres in the 31st minute of play forced Bingo Katowice's goalkeeper Lech Kaczorowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Dres got in the 32nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lech Kaczorowski handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Dariusz Dres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Dariusz Dres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Van Gogh CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Dariusz Dres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lech Kaczorowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lech Kaczorowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Drozdowski in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dariusz Dres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lech Kaczorowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bingo Katowice's Norbert Bartocha got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radomil Gdaniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Bartocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Norbert Bartocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match Maksymilian Buczak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radomil Gdaniec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Van Gogh CF's Olaf Drozdowski got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dariusz Dres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bingo Katowice's Lech Kaczorowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Bingo Katowice from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the game, one of Van Gogh CF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Bingo Katowice. Konrad Zawacki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Radomil Gdaniec. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Olaf Drozdowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Van Gogh CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Olaf Drozdowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lech Kaczorowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Van Gogh CF's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Mockiewicz came free, but Radomil Gdaniec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norbert Bartocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomil Gdaniec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Mockiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the match, Van Gogh CF's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Mockiewicz came free, but Radomil Gdaniec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
