With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikolaj Bykowski in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kajetan Drebit saved Bayern from getting behind. In the 12th match minute, Bayern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Chowaniec to maneuver through the defense. Kajetan Drebit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Sroka in the 15th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Tarliczna's Kajetan Drebit threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar Sroka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korneliusz Buczak got free with Kajetan Drebit in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jaroslaw Gecionis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Sala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Gdowik in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Bayern's Tomasz Mojsiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Sala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tarliczna's Herbert Sala tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jerzy Gdowik sped through Tarliczna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herbert Sala. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Bayern's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Sroka came free, but Kajetan Drebit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Tomasz Mojsiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasz Mojsiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomasz Mojsiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Gdowik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Herbert Sala made a huge save. Herbert Sala came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Bayern's Jerzy Gdowik. But to his dismay, Jerzy Gdowik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Tarliczna's zone, Tomasz Mojsiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Sala came out of the goal and Tomasz Mojsiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomasz Mojsiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Tomasz Mojsiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herbert Sala. The goal made the score 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Bayern left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tarliczna.
