Szczepan Franzik charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szczepan Franzik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Szczepan Franzik kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Adam Nuszkowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cezary Starogardzki. Adam Nuszkowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Vanmoons's Iwo Domarecki in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Zielona Góra's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Vanmoons's Cezary Starogardzki got control of the ball when Roman Wicherek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Iwo Domarecki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanmoons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwo Domarecki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Domarecki in the 20th minute of play forced KS Zielona Góra's goalkeeper Ziemowit Plaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cezary Starogardzki made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Roman Wicherek sent off a good shot on target. Iwo Domarecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Plaski having to interfere. Tobiasz Piechna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezary Starogardzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Nuszkowski in the 39th minute of the match. Cezary Starogardzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Wicherek in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ziemowit Plaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Piechna, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. KS Zielona Góra's Ziemowit Plaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Piechna in the 54th minute of play. Tobiasz Piechna struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ziemowit Plaski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanmoons. 57 minutes into the match, KS Zielona Góra's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Piechna came free, but Ziemowit Plaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szczepan Franzik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adam Nuszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes, Tobiasz Piechna made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. KS Zielona Góra's Ziemowit Plaski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 92 minutes, Iwo Domarecki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanmoons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwo Domarecki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
