In the 8th match minute, FC BYTOM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Wojtowicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Marek Huchro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Bogumil Pyczkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jedrzej Zyskowski was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The FC BYTOM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when FC BYTOM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Wojtowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Feliks Gdowski rounded FC BYTOM's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The audience was convinced that Feliks Gdowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Gerlach was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wlodzimierz Tepper in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeusz Gerlach saved FC BYTOM from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Feliks Gdowski made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Gerlach. FC BYTOM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliks Gdowski to make the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Feliks Gdowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BYTOM's Tadeusz Gerlach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 minutes of play, FC BYTOM's Bartosz Wojtowicz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jedrzej Zyskowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aleksander Brytan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Feliks Gdowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeusz Gerlach having to make a save. Jedrzej Zyskowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lukasz Wiatrak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. Jedrzej Zyskowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukasz Wiatrak's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Bogumil Pyczkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliks Gdowski in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeusz Gerlach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Soliwoda hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Czeslaw Pilarczyk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jedrzej Zyskowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Liverpool FC's Feliks Gdowski got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC BYTOM were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Liverpool FC's much stronger midfield.
