Remigiusz Makomaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Basaik, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kazimierz Banas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Pankracy Majdoch made the kick off in the second half. When Kazimierz Banas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gradowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Banas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pankracy Majdoch in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juliusz Tuliszewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grzegorz Bejrut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Remigiusz Makomaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wasyl Basaik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Makomaski having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Piast Gliwice's Grzegorz Bejrut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigiusz Makomaski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wasyl Basaik scored 1-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigiusz Makomaski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Gradowice's Pankracy Majdoch got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Wasyl Basaik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Cyprian Brudzisz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gradowice and the Piast Gliwice players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cyprian Brudzisz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Wasyl Basaik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kazimierz Banas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Tuliszewski having to interfere. Juliusz Tuliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Majdoch in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Piast Gliwice's zone, Pankracy Majdoch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliusz Tuliszewski came out of the goal and Pankracy Majdoch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Piast Gliwice had won after a very even match.
