Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariusz Traczewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 16 in the game by Julian Plech from a close distance when the talented Gwidon Wielgopolski managed to make a qualified save. Smolany's players were relieved. In the last second Gwidon Wielgopolski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tobiasz Rosiewicz in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tobiasz Rosiewicz struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gwidon Wielgopolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuligi. Kuligi's Julian Plech got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Smolany's Bogdan Pincoski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Artur Mlekodaj, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Smolany's Gwidon Wielgopolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Smolany from getting a goal against them. Dominik Korytkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Wielgopolski having to interfere. In the 44th minute Tobiasz Rosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Wielgopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Plech made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 47thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gwidon Wielgopolski would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Smolany booed when Kuligi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Wielgopolski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Tobiasz Rosiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kuligi's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobiasz Rosiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwidon Wielgopolski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Julian Plech put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gwidon Wielgopolski. Gwidon Wielgopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Plech, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Tobiasz Rosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Wielgopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Kuligi were the better team. Kuligi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
