In the 8th minute, Maleszow's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jurand Waldoch fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edgar Kossakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Tyski having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Grunwald got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Kossakowski. Maleszow's Hugon Tyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Kossakowski in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jurand Waldoch made a precise shot to the right of Hugon Tyski. Maleszow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 25th minute Bartosz Zajonc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Bondel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Grunwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Matela to maneuver through the defense. Roman Topolski struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bartlomiej Bondel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maleszow. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartosz Zajonc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ludomir Komanski fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grunwald's protests and gave Ludomir Komanski a yellow card for diving instead. Grunwald's Bartlomiej Bondel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Zajonc in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, one of Grunwald:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grunwald. Roman Topolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Bartlomiej Bondel managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Maleszow's Roman Topolski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Bartlomiej Bondel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bartlomiej Bondel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Topolski in the 71st minute. Radomir Matela hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Maleszow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Topolski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Maleszow supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maleszow would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
