Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norbert Walczak started the match with the kick off. Adam Rasiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bartosz Buczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Norbert Walczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Rasiak in the 16th minute of play forced KM Ruda Śląska's goalkeeper Bartosz Buczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gortatowice were furious when Edmund Wojtkiewicz was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Gortatowice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KM Ruda Śląska:s goal. Wincenty Rutecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wojciech Cetnar went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Zachariasz Cebula struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bartosz Buczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortatowice. Bartosz Buczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Rasiak in the 32nd minute. If Zachariasz Cebula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Witalis Wojtkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wincenty Rutecki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Gortatowice's Adam Rasiak in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KM Ruda Śląska's goalie prevented a goal. KM Ruda Śląska's Bartosz Buczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save KM Ruda Śląska from getting a goal against them. Norbert Walczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartosz Buczak having to interfere. If Adam Rasiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Roland Oborski kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Adam Rasiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartosz Buczak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Adam Rasiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortatowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Rasiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Buczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by KM Ruda Śląska's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roch Gruchacz was slow to take the kick. During this time Gortatowice's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Roch Gruchacz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bartosz Buczak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Roland Oborski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krzysztof Klucznik hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gortatowice's Norbert Walczak got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wasyl Mielak charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wasyl Mielak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Gortatowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Mielak to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Adam Rasiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortatowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Rasiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Buczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonard Czubski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartosz Buczak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Adam Rasiak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bartosz Buczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in KM Ruda Śląska's zone, Norbert Walczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartosz Buczak came out of the goal and Norbert Walczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gortatowice's Adam Rasiak got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Adam Rasiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Roland Oborski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KM Ruda Śląska's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Oborski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KM Ruda Śląska were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Gortatowice's much stronger midfield.
