The referee showed Czeslaw Patora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes ESPN Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Patora. Zbyszko Haszczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damazy Damazki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Stanislaw Ludzia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wehen SSA's Olaf Plucinik. Olaf Plucinik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damazy Damazki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeusz Praski went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Wehen SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Ludzia came free, but Olaf Plucinik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wehen SSA's Zula Pieknik got a free kick in the 29th minute. Tadeusz Praski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Damazki having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, ESPN Bełchatów's Stanislaw Ludzia made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Plucinik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zbyszko Haszczak to strike the kick off in the second half. If Antoni Jakisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Zbyszek Charamut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ESPN Bełchatów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wehen SSA the free kick. In the 58th minute, one of ESPN Bełchatów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ESPN Bełchatów. Zula Pieknik hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Antoni Jakisz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olaf Plucinik. Antoni Jakisz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. After a rather tough play, ESPN Bełchatów's Stasio Zbytniewski got a free kick in the 70th minute. Zbyszko Haszczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ESPN Bełchatów eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
