He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wadochowice reached it. Norbert Sochacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szymon Starogardzki struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Slawomir Sniegowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hanuszów. Norbert Sochacki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Slawomir Sniegowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Ryszard Duszenski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Dawid Walkowski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ryszard Duszenski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Zbigniew Lepucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Ryszard Duszenski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wadochowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Duszenski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Dawid Walkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbigniew Lepucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Duszenski in the 36th minute of play. If Dawid Walkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Wadochowice's Zbigniew Lepucki threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ryszard Duszenski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Dawid Walkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbigniew Lepucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Duszenski in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Norbert Cwojdak fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wadochowice's protests and gave Norbert Cwojdak a yellow card for diving instead. If Ryszard Duszenski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
