Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 125) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacek Jankowski started the match with the kick off. Wieslaw Budarz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacek Jankowski in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, GKS Katowice's Wieslaw Budarz got control of the ball when Milosz Tyski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Milosz Tyski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacek Jankowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wieslaw Budarz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacek Jankowski in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wieslaw Budarz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Jankowski came free, but Wieslaw Budarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Konstanty Kiewra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Florian Wodaszak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wieslaw Budarz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th match minute, Szczukwin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Panikowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Roman Gejda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafal Nocny skillfully saved the ball. Wieslaw Budarz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacek Jankowski's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Jacek Jankowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wieslaw Budarz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jacek Jankowski came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Szczukwin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacek Jankowski couldn't finish the play. Konrad Karanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes, Zbyszek Wincek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Katowice and the Szczukwin players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes into the game, one of GKS Katowice:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Betonowy was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Edgar Betonowy hit a great ball. The Szczukwin fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Szczukwin's Jacek Jankowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wieslaw Budarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Karanowski in the 63rd minute of the match. The Szczukwin fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Szczukwin's Jacek Jankowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Szczukwin made a substitution. Benedykt Kiewra replaced Tytus Kaczorowski. Szczukwin's Marian Miarka was substituted for Milosz Tyski. The audience was convinced that Jacek Jankowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wieslaw Budarz was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When Dariusz Wojno fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Katowice's protests and gave Dariusz Wojno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GKS Katowice's Dariusz Wojno got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Wincek to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes of play, Szczukwin's Jacek Jankowski made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wieslaw Budarz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wieslaw Budarz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Jankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Florian Wodaszak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90thth minute of the game Jacek Jankowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Katowice's Wieslaw Budarz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Jankowski came free, but Wieslaw Budarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wieslaw Budarz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Szczukwin's Konrad Karanowski. But to his dismay, Konrad Karanowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. GKS Katowice's Wieslaw Budarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Piczak in the 97th minute of play.
