The supporters of Olimp Elbląg booed when Schurgast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Gamza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zbyszko Pleban came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Olimp Elbląg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Pleban couldn't finish the play. Tadeusz Podolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeusz Podolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Ludwiczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszko Pleban succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After 60 played minutes Zbyszko Pleban rounded Schurgast's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Olimp Elbląg's zone, Tadeusz Gamza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Podolski came out of the goal and Tadeusz Gamza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zbyszko Pleban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugon Ludwiczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tymoteusz Niewiadomski struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Norbert Solarek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimp Elbląg. After a rather tough play, Schurgast's Tadeusz Gamza got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Antoni Dobilas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Solarek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tadeusz Gamza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tadeusz Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Tymoteusz Niewiadomski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norbert Solarek. Schurgast's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tymoteusz Niewiadomski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Schurgast lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
