The Waltershof fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Banaszak should have stopped the shot. Mieszko Ptaszek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alfred Banaszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mieszko Ptaszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Banaszak having to interfere. Damazy Kisiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alfred Banaszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wasyl Zecman in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Banaszak saved Waltershof from getting behind. If Korneliusz Pierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korneliusz Pierz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alfred Banaszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Wasyl Zecman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marusy SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Grzegorz Siwek's late challenge caught a Marusy SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grzegorz Siwek helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Waltershof:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marusy SA:s goal. In the 34th minute, Korneliusz Pierz made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Banaszak. Waltershof's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Alfred Banaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Kisiel in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdzislaw Jarmulowicz during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Waltershof getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Zdzislaw Jarmulowicz hit a great ball. Wasyl Zecman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Banaszak having to interfere. Alfred Banaszak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damazy Kisiel went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Fiszer was the one to do the kick off. Alfred Banaszak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antoni Pleban showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 53 minute of play. When Antoni Pleban fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marusy SA's protests and gave Antoni Pleban a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Marusy SA got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Pleban. Grzegorz Siwek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patryk Soliwoda. Marusy SA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mieszko Ptaszek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marusy SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Mieszko Ptaszek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Banaszak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Waltershof's zone, Mieszko Ptaszek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Banaszak came out of the goal and Mieszko Ptaszek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Kisiel in the 65th minute of play. Alfred Banaszak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasyl Zecman's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Korneliusz Pierz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfred Banaszak was a little too slow when Wasyl Zecman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-8. When Damazy Kisiel came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Marusy SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Kisiel couldn't finish the play. Wasyl Zecman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Banaszak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Marusy SA's Korneliusz Pierz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Zecman in the 78th minute of play. Ryszard Osielski hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Marusy SA's Korneliusz Pierz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfred Banaszak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. The supporters of Waltershof booed when Marusy SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Pierz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Waltershof's Witalis Daszkowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patryk Soliwoda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Waltershof reached it. Wasyl Zecman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Alfred Banaszak 91 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Marusy SA's Mieszko Ptaszek got a free kick in the 97th minute.
