Kryspin Komanski helped the player get up and apologised. If Lucjan Niedziela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DKI Nowiny Rybnik's Radomir Dula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save DKI Nowiny Rybnik from getting a goal against them. Wąs-Pierogi Basi i Kasi's Hieronim Modrzewski got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, DKI Nowiny Rybnik's Radomir Dula got control of the ball when Hieronim Modrzewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wąs-Pierogi Basi i Kasi's Korneliusz Nieuzyla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Niedziela in the 22nd minute of play. Wieslaw Walczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Wąs-Pierogi Basi i Kasi's goal looked a bit too open when Wladyslaw Lampe came free, but Korneliusz Nieuzyla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kryspin Komanski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Niedziela in the 34th minute of play forced Wąs-Pierogi Basi i Kasi's goalkeeper Korneliusz Nieuzyla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wieslaw Walczyk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Radomir Dula when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Lucjan Niedziela came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the DKI Nowiny Rybnik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Niedziela couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wladyslaw Lampe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Hieronim Modrzewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wąs-Pierogi Basi i Kasi's supporters rose to their feet, but Hieronim Modrzewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Dula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the game, Tolek Nocny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DKI Nowiny Rybnik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wąs-Pierogi Basi i Kasi the free kick. Wąs-Pierogi Basi i Kasi's Hieronim Modrzewski got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
