An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Lenertej in the 11th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Artur Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wisła Kraków's zone, Mateusz Arbaszewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Sitko came out of the goal and Mateusz Arbaszewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute of the match Zachariasz Penczkowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezary Karbowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Schrepau's Grzegorz Lenertej sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Sitko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Grzegorz Lenertej came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Schrepau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grzegorz Lenertej couldn't finish the play. Artur Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Arbaszewski in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateusz Arbaszewski in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Sitko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grzegorz Lenertej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Sitko having to interfere. Artur Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Arbaszewski in the 37th minute of the match. Mateusz Arbaszewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Sitko having to make a save. Artur Sitko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Lenertej, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leszek Frankowski during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Schrepau booed when Wisła Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leszek Frankowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Artur Sitko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Wisła Kraków fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Schrepau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
