The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barnaba Sobania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. In the 29th minute, Jerzy Bara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, KP Polonia Piła's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Kaider came free, but Edward Bochinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, KP Polonia Piła was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Soroka to maneuver through the defense. In the 38thth minute of the game Roman Kaider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KP Polonia Piła's Edward Bochinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Bochinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pawel Penc in the 39th minute. A collision led to KP Polonia Piła getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Florian Ewertowski hit a great ball. Barnaba Sobania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Kaider to make the kick off. Edward Bochinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawel Penc went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Pawel Penc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Pawel Penc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomaryny's supporters rose to their feet, but Pawel Penc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Bochinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barnaba Sobania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ryszard Poling managed to get in a good position for a shot. KP Polonia Piła's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryszard Poling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomaryny's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
