Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teobald Czerner kicked off to start the match. After 18 played minutes Rudnia got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Wojno. Feliks Dankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tytus Boruta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Dankowski in the 24th minute of the match. Feliks Dankowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tytus Boruta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Bernard Blicharz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tytus Boruta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Blicharz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tytus Boruta having to interfere. In the 34th minute Teobald Czerner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Mindykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lech Poznań's zone, Leszek Beninda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Mindykowski came out of the goal and Leszek Beninda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominik Mindykowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Czerner in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Bernard Blicharz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lech Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Blicharz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Bartosz Rukszcz put in a rough tackle. 40 minutes into the game, one of Rudnia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for FC Lech Poznań. Roland Sroki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tytus Boruta. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliks Dankowski made a kick off. Bernard Blicharz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Tytus Boruta made a huge save. 60 minutes into the game, Bernard Blicharz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tytus Boruta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Emil Wojton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Leszek Beninda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dariusz Cymbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bernard Blicharz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tytus Boruta made a huge save. When Zygmunt Daszkowski came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Rudnia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Daszkowski couldn't finish the play. Leszek Beninda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tytus Boruta came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lech Poznań's Leszek Pruss. But to his dismay, Leszek Pruss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. FC Lech Poznań's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
