The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ciechocinek's Tytus Jarosiewicz got a free kick in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Witomir Augustyn charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witomir Augustyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Witomir Augustyn hit a great ball. Ciechocinek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Blicharz in the 45th minute. The corner led Ciechocinek's Dawid Blicharz to fire away a dangerous shot which Ryszard Borcz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcin Lerych could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Ryszard Borcz made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gwidon Kajfasz to strike the kick off in the second half. If Andrzej Kapera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrzej Kapera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryszard Praski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AC Milan's Ryszard Borcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Praski in the 68th minute of play. Andrzej Kapera took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Pionek. Borys Pionek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gwidon Kajfasz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borys Pionek having to make a save. Gwidon Kajfasz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Ryszard Praski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Borcz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Kajfasz in the 85th minute of play forced Ciechocinek's goalkeeper Borys Pionek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Kajfasz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Marcin Lerych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Witomir Augustyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcin Lerych scored 1-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ryszard Borcz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Milan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
