The supporters of ŁKS Łódź booed when Kolimagi SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 14 minutes, Zbigniew Balonek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ŁKS Łódź and the Kolimagi SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zbigniew Balonek hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boleslaw Pysz in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomil Rywin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes, Witold Brak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kolimagi SSA and the ŁKS Łódź players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Witold Brak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbigniew Balonek got free with Edward Walczak in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacy Pyrzyce in the 32nd minute of play forced ŁKS Łódź's goalkeeper Radomil Rywin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kolimagi SSA's Kacper Adamski got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, ŁKS Łódź's Bogumil Chazen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Walczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 39th minute Zbigniew Balonek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Walczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Chazen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Walczak having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Bogumil Chazen struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Edward Walczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŁKS Łódź. After 57 minutes of play, ŁKS Łódź's Roman Huchro made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Walczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Walczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Huchro in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Chazen in the 63rd minute of play forced Kolimagi SSA's goalkeeper Edward Walczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Roman Huchro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kolimagi SSA's Edward Walczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislaw Bobrowski in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Walczak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Walczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Huchro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomil Rywin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Tuliszewski in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Kolimagi SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Balonek came free, but Edward Walczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes ŁKS Łódź got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Bobrowski. After a rather tough play, ŁKS Łódź's Hieronim Wos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Zbigniew Balonek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ŁKS Łódź's Zbigniew Balonek got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edward Walczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Huchro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Kolimagi SSA's Witold Brak got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Witold Brak off the ground. In the 89th minute, Witold Brak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roman Huchro came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the ŁKS Łódź fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Huchro couldn't finish the play.
