Bernard Hoffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Sakowicz in the 13th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Mysłowic Górnik Zabrze's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Zacharek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damian Pilitowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Hoffman having to interfere. Zdzislaw Zacharek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafal Zajac's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Rafal Zajac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zdzislaw Zacharek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Wawrzyniec Rakowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mysłowic Górnik Zabrze and the Renkussen SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wawrzyniec Rakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Renkussen SA's Lucjan Mios couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. If Witomir Sakowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Mysłowic Górnik Zabrze walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
